Camamu’s superlative bar shampoos, Happy Hair Burdock, Laranja Chamomile, Neutral Henna and Rosemary Nettle, are made from densely conditioning, gently cleansing base oils. Castor and coconut oil create a thick, conditioning lather, while the other oils (olive, jojoba, sweet almond, apricot kernel, avocado and shea butter) nourish, clean and condition the hair and scalp. We add infusions of soothing, scalp- and hair-health supporting organic herbs, and essential oils blends that stimulate the scalp and the senses.
New to Camamu is our 3 oz Beautiful Baby shampoo. Specially formulated for the tender tops of little tots, this shampoo combines base oils for deep moisturizing like avocado, jojoba and shea butter with a cradle-cap healing infusion of organic calendula. Scented with lavender, geranium and sweet orange essential oils for soothing mama and baby!
Our 10% Neem Oil shampoo offers gentle therapeutic care against a wide range of hair, scalp and skin conditions – from lice to eczema to psoriasis to acne. The addition of tea tree essential oil to our neem shampoo boosts its ability to combat a wide range of skin, scalp and hair ailments.
We are so happy our shampoos don’t have in them what so many commercially made ones do. There are no parabens, no sodium lauryl sulfate, no phthalate-containing fragrance oils, no synthetically derived oils – nothing but goodness.
A few more pointers in the plus column – our bar shampoos are easy to travel with as there’s no possibility of spillage and no issue with the air-travel ban on liquids. They are light and absolutely portable. One more thing to think about – no plastic bottles are used in packaging so there’s no waste produced.
