A neighbor brought us over branches of bay leaves after trimming her tree. What to do? We decided to try our hand at micro-brewing aftershave lotion and this is the result. Bay leaves and allspice berries infused in dark golden rum for months, strained and then muddled with witch hazel and a spicily earthy essential oil blend of bay, cassia, clove, vetiver and patchouli. Don’t be surprised if people move a bit closer than usual!
