Review: Becka Miller - Super User....
I use it to clean everything in my house: floors, stainless steel (make sure to rinse thoroughly to avoid spots), greasy buildup on door frames, countertops, bathtub, toilet, fridge everything! and a little goes a long way, so it lasts quite a while. Instead of a buying liquid in a bottle every month or so, I can buy one bar of soap and it lasts months. After so many years of doing dishes with liquid soap, it was a revelation that there was a better way to clean dishes that is kinder for the environment and our hands. Like anything new it takes a moment to get the hang of it, to let it sink in that a little bit is all you need, and to learn that bubbles aren't necessary for a good clean! I am enjoying learning to trust the simplicity of this soap. I keep my bar by the sink in a bowl that has something to keep it up out of the water so it can dry after use. I take my wet loofah sponge and get just a little bit of soap on it (not too much as you have to rinse off all you put on- after trial and error you will learn just the right amount, and you can always test for cleanliness after rinsing with the squeak test!) and then use that to clean my dishes. I also grate a little soap into water and shake until the soap dissolves - I keep this in a pump near the sink for when I need a little less soap on my loofah or want some liquid that I can put in a soaking pot.
